Community Outreach Services at LPCK

La Pine Community Kitchen is proud to partner with local agencies who bring essential support directly to our neighbors. Each week, three outreach teams provide on‑site services to help with behavioral health, medical access, housing support, employment, and veteran services. All outreach is free, confidential, and available to anyone in need.

Strengthening Rural Community through Partnership: LPCK × St. Vincent de Paul – La Pine

In rural communities like ours, connection is everything. That’s why La Pine Community Kitchen is proud to collaborate with St. Vincent de Paul – La Pine in a shared mission to ensure no neighbor is left behind.

Together, we’re tackling food insecurity head-on by delivering hot, nutritious meals to homebound individuals every Tuesday through Thursday. This partnership brings more than sustenance—it brings dignity, compassion, and human connection straight to the doorsteps of those who need it most.

How it Works:

🍳Meals are prepared fresh at LPCK Tuesday through Thursday

🚗St. Vincent de Paul volunteers pick up and deliver those meals to registered homebound clients

Each delivery includes a nourishing meal, a wellness check-in, and a moment of connection, reminding our neighbors they are seen and supported.

🧡Why It Matters: In rural communities, access can mean everything. Many of our neighbors live miles from the nearest store or support service, and some are unable to leave their homes at all due to illness, disability, or age. This collaboration ensures that no one falls through the cracks. By working together, LPCK and St. Vincent de Paul help reduce food insecurity, social isolation, and health risks—bringing care directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most.

🤝Who It’s For: This partnership serves homebound individuals in the greater La Pine area—residents who are elderly, chronically ill, recovering from surgery, or otherwise unable to travel to our local community pantries or meal service site. These are often community members at high risk for hunger and social disconnection.

This collaboration reflects our broader mission: to build a coordinated, compassionate network of care that uplifts and empowers rural residents. It’s just one example of how LPCK and our partners are coming together to turn empathy into action and create lasting change across Central Oregon.

Meeting Families’ Needs with Dignity and Care

Supporting Rural Families: LPCK × Diaper Bank of Central Oregon

Access to basic essentials shouldn’t depend on your zip code. That’s why La Pine Community Kitchen proudly partners with the Diaper Bank of Central Oregon—to ensure rural families have what they need to raise healthy, thriving children.

Through this ongoing collaboration, we provide free diapers and infant care items every Tuesday and Friday at LPCK, helping parents ease financial strain and access the support they deserve.

🌟 Expanding Impact Through Partnership

🤝 Our Shared Commitment

  • Eases financial stress for families with young children.
  • Supports healthy child development through consistent diaper access.
  • Improves access and equity for underserved families in Central Oregon, reinforcing LPCK’s commitment to family stability and rural health outcomes.
  • Strengthen family economics through essential support.
  • Promote healthier outcomes for infants and toddlers.
  • Serve with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Together, we’re advancing economic resilience, health, and hope—one diaper at a time. By easing a critical burden for parents and caregivers, we’re helping families build stronger foundations—and a brighter future.
