Fresh Harvest Meal Kits: Nourishing Families Through Local Collaboration
La Pine Community Kitchen (LPCK) is proud to partner with the High Desert Food & Farm Alliance (HDFFA) to offer Fresh Harvest Kits each Friday during the summer months. This collaboration is a shining example of how local farms, nonprofits, and hunger relief agencies can come together to promote food equity in rural Oregon.

What’s in a Fresh Harvest Kit?
Each ready-to-make kit includes:
- Farm-fresh, seasonal vegetables grown right here in Central Oregon
- Pantry staples to round out the meal
- Flavorful seasonings from Savory Spice
- A simple recipe, written in both English and Spanish, so that every household—regardless of background—can confidently prepare a nourishing meal
Thanks to HDFFA’s collaboration with regional farms and hunger relief partners, we are proud to offer this meaningful resource directly at LPCK. It’s part of our shared commitment to improve food access while supporting Oregon’s agricultural economy.
Pick up your kit at the Community Food Pantry every Friday this summer—while supplies last!
Together, we’re nourishing families, supporting local growers, and building a stronger, more food-secure community.
