Featured Spotlight: Collaboration in Action
At La Pine Community Kitchen, partnership is at the heart of everything we do. As a trusted community hub, LPCK works hand-in-hand with local organizations, families, and volunteers to ensure rural residents have access to essential resources and support.
This summer, we’re shining a light on the incredible collaborations making a difference every day:
High Desert Food & Farm Alliance Bringing Fresh Harvest Kits filled with farm-fresh produce, pantry staples, and bilingual recipes to LPCK every Friday.
La Pine Community Health Center Outreach Team onsite every Tuesday at LPCK, connecting our guests to vital health care services and support.
Deschutes County Library Bringing Library on the Go to LPCK on the last Friday of each month, expanding access to books and literacy resources for all ages.
St. Vincent de Paul Partnering with LPCK Tuesday through Thursday to deliver hot meals directly to homebound neighbors, ensuring no one is left hungry or forgotten.
Deschutes County Behavioral Health Outreach Team onsite at LPCK every Friday, connecting guests with critical mental health services and housing support to foster stability and well-being.
Central Oregon Diaper Bank Available at LPCK every Tuesday and Friday, providing diapers and infant care essentials to support families in need.
These partnerships are more than programs—they’re proof that when we work together, we build stronger, healthier communities. LPCK’s goal is to reduce hardship, prevent homelessness, and help families in Central Oregon truly thrive.
Together, we’re reimagining rural care—with collaboration, compassion, and shared purpose at the core.

What Sets La Pine Community Kitchen Apart?
Of the many nonprofit organizations in Deschutes County that are dedicated to serving those in need, only one – La Pine Community Kitchen – provides assistance through three programs, and in one location: Community Kitchen, which provides nutritious meals five days a week; Community Food Pantry, which distributes locally donated grocery items for in-person shopping; and Community Clothing Closet, which offers donated clothing and personal hygiene supplies. These programs are free of charge with no qualifying restrictions – everyone is welcome.

Join our team! Everyone is welcomed with respect and dignity.
